How to reach the property: From Nadi International Airport via daily charter flight departing at approximately 2:00pm. Flight time is approx. 35-minutes to Yasawa Island Resort's own airstrip with just a short 10 minute ground transfer to the resort. (Approximate cost $350.00 per person round trip) Strict baggage limit of 33 lbs. per person.

Accommodations: Each well appointed bure is the essence of absolute luxury amongst vibrant tropical gardens. The bures offer a large bedroom with king-size bed and a separate living area including air-conditioning, ceiling fan and plantation shutters. In addition, each has a double shower and a generous vanity area, which opens onto an expansive private sundeck. In room telephone, CD/radio/cassette player, coffee/tea making facilities, mini bar, hairdryer and safe. Each bure has its own thatched beach hut including a hammock strung between two palms.

Bure Suites: 6 DUPLEX UNITS (units share a common wall) Large bure with beachfront location, double showers, discreet open-air shower, double vanity and separate toilet.

Deluxe Bures: 10 UNITS (free standing units - no common wall) Split level, beachfront location, double showers, double vanity and separate toilet. Timbered sundecks with outdoor day bed and 2nd outdoor shower.

Deluxe 2 Bedroom Bure "Drodrolagi" 1 UNIT Superbly located high on the southern end of the resort with breathtaking views to the north. Split bedrooms with large center living room. Each bedroom features a private bathroom with shower, dual vanity, separate toilet, and large walk-in closet. Private access from each bedroom to large wooden sundeck equipped with day beds. Also features a 3rd outdoor shower.


Honeymoon Bure "Lomalagi" 1 UNIT You will find this exclusive, split level bure both private and decadent. Set in a remote area of the property offering a very secluded setting. The unit features a living room separate from the bedroom and a bath with dual vanities, indoor and outdoor showers. Your own private pool is just off the end of an expansive deck. Enjoy absolute indulgence as you plunge into the pool with the beach and ocean stretched out before you. This is for couples looking for a real escape in paradise.

Restaurant: One - "Bure Levu". Dining at Yasawa is an experience in itself. The resort's chef prepares superb contemporary food with an emphasis on the succulent seafood caught in the waters nearby. For wine lovers, the resort owner has built up arguably the finest cellar in Fiji. It continues to win acclaim.

Activities with cost: Scuba Diving - PADI Dive Center. One tank dive approximate cost US$65. Game Fishing is aboard the "MV Yasawa", a 30' Blackwatch powered by twin turbo 330 hp diesel engines. Blackwatch boats are considered amongst the world's best game boats. The Yasawa waters offer great potential for game fishing, in particular Blue Marlin, Sailfish, Tuna and Mahi Mahi. Charter rates are approximately US$110 per hour with a 4 hour minimum. One to six passengers.

Suggested Activities:

You can hire the resort's boat for a day and visit the Blue Lagoon Caves where Brooke Shields fell under Yasawa's spell during the filming of the movie of the same name. A swim in the cool depths of the lagoon's caves is truly a magical experience.
You might like to jump aboard the resort's bus to visit a local village where the villagers, always sincere in their welcome to outsiders, will give you an insight into a lifestyle that has changed little since before the arrival of missionaries.

Take lunch on one of the 11 local beaches within an easy walk or boat ride from the resort. Hamper in hand, packed to brim with lobster plucked the night before from a nearby reef, or peppered chicken, vintage cheese and a cornucopia of fruits and vegetables.

Weddings: Nestled discreetly in a lush tropical forest the resort owners were themselves married on its idyllic shores. Take your vows in the shade of the palms, on the sands of a deserted beach, before a tropical sunset or under the southern stars. Choose traditional decorations and Fijian dress or go with your own attire.
