HOW TO REACH THE PROPERTY:
Air Wakaya private charter. (Approximate cost: US$830 per person round
trip). These flights are arranged to meet the guests' schedule. However,
this 45 minute flight from Nadi only operates during daylight hours.

fresh water grotto like pool with the relaxing sound of water trickling
from its waterfall.
Nestled on 2,200 acres Wakaya's beauty extends far beyond its surface
from soaring rocky cliffs to the depths of the Pacific bursting with colorful
living coral reefs teaming with exotic tropical fish. These protected
waters are some of the clearest and abundant on earth.
You may choose to embark on an archaeological nature walk through her
lush forest, where you will soak in the breathtaking flora and experience
Wakaya's wildlife
.wild horses, deer, feral pigs and exotic birds.
You may visit "Chieftain's Leap", where native Fijians leapt
to their deaths rather than face capture by invading warriors.
Recently erected is an impressive Fijian structure to house the largest
private collection of 19th Century Fijian art and artifacts. This recreation
bure also features a sunken bar, pool table, video viewing and game area.
Wakaya is also the source of crystal-clear Fiji brand water, drawn from
a virgin well deep beneath volcanic highlands. Guests of the resort enjoy
the water, which is also bottled and shipped to New York, California and
Florida.
The nearby village inhabitants may of which comprise the staff members
and their families. Guests are welcome to attend services at the 19th
Century style church. The village is alive with activity including traditional
island crafts, markets of fish, vegetables, fruit and other items.

Each
of the 9 thatched-roof deluxe bures has all the luxurious refinements
to satisfy its exclusive clientele. Each is cooled by air-conditioning
and ceiling fans and features a private deck, living room with wet bar,
separate bedroom with king bed and a well appointed bathroom. Each bure
also has its own rear garden area. Sizes range from 1,500 to 1,850 sq.
ft. These 2 room cottages are tucked privately away offering spectacular
ocean views and just a few short steps to your own beach. Rooms include
king-size bed, lava rock shower, over-sized deep soaking tub, fluffy cotton
robes and towels and "Crabtree & Evelyn toiletries, CD system,
wet-bar stocked daily with spirits, soft drinks, fresh local fruits and
juices and it wouldn't be complete without the world famous FIJI bottled
water.

Vale
O (3 bedroom estate) Vale O" literally means "House
in the Clouds". Set on a promontory above Homestead Bay, Vale O offers
the ultimate Wakaya experience. Originally designed as a 12,000 sq. ft.
private vacation home for the island owners, Vale O offers a breathtaking
panoramic view of the Pacific with a coveted front-row seat for Wakaya's
notorious fiery sunsets. This 3 bedroom island estate is divided into
three pavilions, housing from 1 to 3 couples and includes personal kitchen
and laundry staff, your own personal chef and an on-call driver.
The living pavilion has its own sunken bar and dining area, a cushy lounge
area and an expansive wrap-around verandah, stepping down to a sunning
terrace and rock trimmed swimming pool with spa and remote controlled
waterfall. The pavilion is tastefully decorated with Far Eastern objects
of art, old books and custom bamboo and rattan furnishings. A covered
walkway leads to the guest pavilion, with 2 spacious bedrooms and ensuite
baths, also tastefully decorated. Beyond is the master pavilion, with
king bed, enormous his and her baths, walk-in closets, writing desk and
other elegant appointments.
Reserving Vale O entitles you to exclusive use of its lighted tennis court
and boules court, as well as all of the Wakaya's other amenities, sporting
activites and all meals and beverages, whether in Vale O or at the clubs
Palm Grove Restaurant.

RESTAURANT:
1 - Palm Grove Restaurant; There are four chefs and two pastry
chefs that create works of art every day. Offering you mouthwatering dishes
from gourmet Fijian, Indian, Chinese and Continental delicacies, you also
have choice of local game, fresh seafood and native fruits and vegetables
which are grown in Wakaya's own organic gardens. In addition, you will
have some of the most scrumptious hard to resist desserts, presentation
of these dishes are true works of art. Once a week the Wakaya Club puts
on a "meke". This is a celebration of traditional Fijian song
and dance. Followed by a "lovo", a feast of seafood, chicken,
lamb and pig, wrapped in banana leaves and cooked using an in ground oven
where the food is placed over hot rocks and covered. The evening ends
with the traditional "kava" ceremony sharing in the traditional
drink of Fiji.

by the local Fijian Methodist minister with the soft background of the
beautiful voices of the local village choir. The exchanging of your vows
can take place in the church, on the beach or you can choose one of the
many breathtaking locations on the resort grounds. Following the ceremony
there will be a dinner and champagne reception held at the Palm Grove
pavilion complete with music to dance by furnished by the resorts own
