How to reach the property: Approximate 25 minute ground transfer from the Nadi Airport and just a 3 minute boat transfer from the main island across the lagoon to Sonaisali Island Resort. (Boat transfer operates 24 hours.)

Hotel Description: The resort offers a variety of hotel and bure style accommodations. Located along a sea wall the resort is located on a 105-acre private island. Its vast swimming pool features a popular swim-up bar. Sonaisali is a good way to experience an island resort while still having access to sightseeing on the mainland and Nadi's duty free shopping.

Accommodations: A combination of rooms and bures each having its own private balcony or deck. Here, you'll be able to sit back and capture some of the most spectacular sunsets. Restaurants: 3 restaurants and 3 bars. The alfresco Rockpool and Terrace Restaurants are best known for their Asia/Pacific, Indian and European cuisine. These restaurants are all-day casual. The air-conditioned Plantation Restaurant is for fine dining. In addition, the resort also offers 24-hour room service.

Facilities: A truly wonderful pool which encircles the restaurant and has its own island and swim-up bar. There is a Boutique and Shops, Beauty Salon, Massage and a Tour Desk to help book any excursions. The resort also offers supervised children's activities which are free of charge. They also have entertainment which includes a house band and the authentic Fire Walking ceremonies and traditional "meke ", the traditional Fijian song and dance performed weekly.

Diving: Sonaisali Island Resort is a gateway to the pristine waters of the world famous Mamanuca Island Group. Over 25 unique locations are situated just 20 minutes away via the resort's dive boat. Dives include wreck and cave dives, drop off and walls. Here are some of the favorite locations:

Kingfisher Reef: Ideal second dive with fabulous swim throughs and small caves located only 10-12 meters deep.

The Pinnacles: A spectacular wall dive with some of the most beautiful coral formations and underwater landscape. This dive is a delight for everyone and also is a great location for night dives.

Namotu Passage: Some amazing coral formations of many different types and even more amazing fish frequent this dive slight located just off Magic Island on the outer reed of the main island. This unique location is also the home of several reef sharks.

Salamanda: A decommissioned 500 tone Blue Lagoon cruise vessel makes a fantastic and safe wreck dive for all levels. Her mast sits as 10 meters with her keel at 30 meters. Divers are able to swim through parts of the ships interior. This is a truly unique experience.

Jackie's Point: A great fish feeding dive in the bounds of a protected marine sanctuary. Thousands of tropical fish of all kinds frequent this spot. This is popular dive for everyone.

Weddings: A unique and memorable wedding ceremony can be arranged. The service, conducted by a Fijian Minister or Marriage Celebrant is legally binding. Photographer, flowers, bouquet, candlelit dinner and cake are included in a variety of romantic wedding packages. Most weddings are held at sunset, staged beachfront. The bride arrives by a longboat decorated with palm leaves and flowers to be carried ashore upon the shoulders of her Fijian warrior escort.
