to reach the property:
Motor
Launch – from Port Denarau via the Tiger IV (about 1 hour). Seaplane 10
min. from Nadi Bay or Denarau Island via Turtle Airways. You may also
take Sunflower Airline, a 10 min. flight to Malololailai Airstrip connecting
with a 10-minute water taxi to the resort. Malolo is designed to provide a totally relaxing experience with professional massage and beauty therapy to sooth away stress, and a Kid Club that operates day and night for that much needed time alone. And, there is an impressive array of water sports to tempt even the most committed beach bum including windsurfing, sailing, kayaking, snorkeling, water-skiing, diving and more.
8 “Ocean View Bures” staggered behind the Beach Bures and Deluxe Bures with easy ocean access. 22 “Beachfront Bures” are situated right on the beach with spectacular sunset views and easy ocean access. 20 “Deluxe Beachfront Bures” are situated within steps of waters edge and have a separate sitting area from the bedroom. 1 “Family Bure” has 2 separate bedrooms and can accommodate up to 6 guests. Total number of rooms: 51 Bures (some are duplex units, sharing a common wall). Restaurant: Beach Bar – located at the water’s edge with spectacular sunset views. Open morning until evening serving drinks and snacks including evening cocktail hour and sunset serenades. Tree Tops Restaurant – offering intimate fine gourmet dinners overlooking the resort. Tree Tops Bar – open until late every evening for drinks and exotic island cocktails. The Terrace Restaurant – with views over the pool serving breakfast, lunch and dinner alfresco.
Wednesday night: This Barbecue is a night to remember. Prime meats, chicken and fish barbecued Fijian style, along with a smorgasbord of tropical fruits, salads and accompaniments. Facilities: Swimming pool, Body Therapy Center, Kid Club, Boutique, PADI Dive, Public Phone Access, Safety Deposit Boxes, Conference Facility.
Activities – Complimentary: Windsurfing, Coral Viewing Boards, Hobie Cats, Paddle Boards, Table Tennis, Ocean Kayaks, Volleyball, Inter-island Trekking and Bush Walking trails. (A beautiful beach is located on the other side of the island, which is about a 20 min. hike, or go by sea kayak!)
Weddings: You may choose from many lovely wedding venues and various ceremony inclusions. Conclude your special day with a romantic beachside candle lit champagne dinner with wedding cake for two. units feature air-conditioning, fridge, tea/coffee maker, separate bathroom,
overhead fans and spacious verandahs. All have 1 Queen size bed and 2
single beds.
Saturday
night: The Malolo staff serves a traditional
Fijian Feast or Lovo. Delicious meats and vegetables are buried in an
earth oven and cooked to perfection. The Feast if followed by a traditional
Meke of Fijian song and dance.
