The
Coral Coast follows the Queen's Highway beginning at Nomi approximately
12 miles south of Nadi and extends for more than 65 miles to Pacific Harbour.
The highway runs through spectacular coastal scenery, highlighted by several
villages, sugar cane plantations, beaches and blue lagoons. While offshore,
the coral reefs that adjoin the southern coastline provide a never-ending
variety of protected lagoons and palm fringed beaches. The beach resorts
located along the Coral Coast offer as much in size, variety and interesting
activities as the coastline itself.
This
is a great location for taking in some of the local culture with many
touring options including visits to traditional Fijian villages, trips
to Sigatoka Valley and sugar train excursions.
